A tribute to Lydia’s Sunflower Center.
For over 18 years Lydia Kindheart has been an inspiration to hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. A true visionary of health and consciousness, Lydia has literally served millions of meals through her restaurants, catering business and festival vending.
It is with tremendous sadness that we are announcing the closure of Lydia’s Sunflower Center.
Anyone who has ever met Lydia will tell you of her passion for nurturing and caring for people. They will tell you of her amazing heart and her timeless wisdom and her unconditional love for all the Earth and its inhabitants.
When Lydia made the announcement to the company on August 26th wasn’t done with such matter-of-fact seriousness that one might experience at other businesses. With teary-eyed transparency, Lydia referred to her team as her family and embraced each and every person. “We Love you Lydia!” was what we exclaimed.
We have all been witness to how hard she tried to keep things moving and to make Lydia’s Sunflower Center successful. From running the company on the executive level, working long hours in her restaurants, helping behind the scenes washing dishes to tending to the kitchen garden at Lydia’s Sunflower Center. No job was too small, every aspect of the business was important to Lydia. Lydia did it all and never hesitated to help out and get her hands dirty.
Thank you to all our loyal and loving Lydia’s Customers. We love and appreciate you! The support that you have given to Lydia’s Organics’ family of companies has made us shine for the many years, and is something that we will be forever grateful for.
